Roblox Dev Charged With Possession Of CSAM
Now will you stop letting your children play this "game"?
Would you let your child play a video game if you knew that pedodophiles made up a majority of the game’s community network? Schlep, a YouTuber focusing on child safety, has been calling out Roblox for years for allowing their platform to become a hunting ground for abusers and groomers.
And now, turns out even a top Roblox developer is guilty.
Jack Jennings, owner of Chesapeake Studios, “is currently being tried by the Canadian Government for possessing child pornography.”
A damning document is circulating the inter webs, accusing the popular Roblox developer of being a predator. And let’s just say the evidence is quite clear, from witness statements to a direct confession by “jackjenningsdev” admitting to engaging in explicit behaviours with a minor.

Parents, now will you finally stop allowing your children to play Roblox? Especially unattended?
Since this document was leaked online, Jennings has deactivated all of his social media and parted ways with Chesapeake Studios. Problem is, that should have happened immediately after his arrest in June 2024. Instead, he was allowed to continue to participate and lead within the Roblox community.

Additionally, the new owner of Chesapeake Studios is Jennings’ father. This risks granting Jennings continued access to the community he loves to exploit.
At least his hometown did not grant him the same grace, with local Thunder Bay police and news announcing his arrest by name, albeit in 2024.
Meanwhile, Roblox has kept all its bathroom games and just last Fall expressed interest in developing dating features.
Absolutely disgusting.
